As part of the pre-construction activities for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project, the Contractor will temporarily delineate traffic lanes on the San Diego Freeway (I-405). This night-time activity requires full freeway lane and ramp closures.
- What: Full Freeway Lane and Ramp Closures to delineate temporary traffic lanes on the northbound I-405 between Moraga Dr. and Getty Center Dr.
- When: Night-time work for freeway lane and ramp closures will begin the night of Monday, February 8, 2010 and morning of Tuesday, February 9, 2010 for one night, weather permitting. Ramp closures may start as early as 8 p.m., followed by freeway lane closures at 9 p.m., and full freeway closures from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. The freeway will begin to re-open to thru traffic at 6 a.m.
- Where: San Diego Freeway (I-405) northbound between Moraga Dr. and Getty Center Dr.

- Wilshire Blvd. Eastbound/Westbound on-ramps to northbound I-405
- Sunset Blvd. on-ramp to northbound I-405
- Moraga Dr. on-ramp to northbound I-405
What to expect:
- Segment schedule and corresponding detour maps will be available at www.metro.net/I-405 prior to the related work activities.
- There will be the same number of thru-traffic lanes as there are currently at the completion of this activity.
